Join this webinar to learn about Argonne National Laboratory’s Heavy-Duty Battery Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Scenario Analysis Model (HEVISAM) tool. Launched in 2023 and supported by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office, HEVISAM supports planning and decision-making by comparing the cost of recharging options for heavy- and medium-duty electric vehicle fleets and designing optimal charging station configurations. It estimates the levelized charging cost in $/kWh for a direct current fast charging (DCFC) station designed for specific fleets, including nonroad vehicles and equipment operating at ports.
Amgad Elgowainy, Krishna Reddi, and Sajag Poudel from Argonne will demonstrate the tool and show sample outputs for a port equipment fleet and an electric school bus fleet.
