  • The Operations Manager plays a critical role in the day-to-day as well as strategic operations of the TILT organization including varied types, modes, and strategies of communication with students, faculty, staff and administrators including use of varied digital approaches and platforms; analysis, coordination, and explanation of TILT projects and events, deconflicting schedules to developing decision matrices and spreadsheets This position actively looks for solutions to problems, takes initiative in developing and communicating choices, and uses a high level of judgment to make autonomous decisions that support organizational functions. The Operations Manager is responsible for the departmental Human Resources processes, including confidential discussions and decisions, fully supports and serves as back up to the Fiscal Officer with full authority and autonomy, and serves as the building proctor for the TILT building which houses three separate administrative and student support units, provides tutoring space for hundreds of students and liaises diplomatically and effectively with diverse populations, including faculty, staff, parents, community members and administrators who visit the TILT teaching and learning space. This position provides administrative support to the department and manages the TILT main office, provides database management, administrative support for the executive director, in overarching management of department operations.
  • Research Associate I positions (temporary or special, part-time or full-time, year-round or limited time period appointment) may become available throughout the year at the CSU San Luis Valley Research Center located in Center, CO.     This position performs general labor and research support for SLVRC research and farm activities in the field, shop, and office.

    Duties may include planting, harvesting, pest control, equipment maintenance, irrigation management, plant measurements, and data collection.

    Successful candidates must have a current driver’s license or access to a qualified driver by employment start date; be able to accommodate Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) to meet seasonal peak demands/varied works hours extending into the night and/or weekend; be able and willing to work outside for extended periods of time; and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. by the start date. SLVRC will not provide visa sponsorship for these positions.
  • The Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) seeks to fill one tenure-track or tenured position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Preference will be given to candidates with a research program in an area of mammalian reproductive physiology/endocrinology that complements existing programs within the department and university. Most reproductive physiology faculty members participate in research on large animals at the Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory (ARBL; https://vetmedbiosci.colostate.edu/arbl/). Current research strengths at ARBL exist in early embryo development, neuroendocrinology, and pregnancy progression and outcomes, with an emphasis placed on relevant livestock and/or human health and disease. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a robust, independent, extramurally funded research program. Opportunities for collaboration exist with faculty in multiple basic science and engineering departments across campus including those associated with the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Ongoing collaborations also exist with faculty at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Core facilities available include a light and electron microscopy imaging network (https://www.research.colostate.edu/min/) and the University’s Proteomics and Metabolomics Facility (https://www.research.colostate.edu/bio/).
    In addition, the person hired into this position will be expected to participate in the departmental teaching mission, by contributing to undergraduate, graduate and/or professional (DVM, MD) teaching. Effective mentoring and advising of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows are also expected. BMS faculty engage in extensive service and outreach activities which the successful candidate could contribute to depending on interests. This is a 9-month appointment with a primary academic appointment in the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
  • Contract, Continuing or Temporary/Adjunct Faculty (CCAF) positions may open in order to address teaching and instruction needs in the department. This pool is specific to the Teaching Career Pathway which includes classification as an Instructor or Senior Instructor or Master Instructor.
  • This position exists to provide management and financial information, analysis, reporting, and instruction by:
    • Supervising and managing day-to-day operations of the accounting team including: assigning and prioritizing work, establishing goals, allocating staff, developing performance plans and evaluations, and approving time cards and leave requests.
    • Structuring and producing on-demand reports using MS Office, Assetworks IWMS, Kuali, WebFocus, SQL queries, PowerBI and other available tools. Including training others on how to use these reporting tools to query data.
    • Producing monthly, quarterly and annual reports Facilities Management covering a wide range of reporting needs for internal and external customers.

    This position also exists to maintain accounting configurations and data integrity of the Assetworks IWMS by:
    • Designing billing processes and procedures and documenting these in the department IWMS manual and training others on processes.
    • Identifying billing transaction problems and resolving issues effectively to ensure there are no adverse impacts to the financials and developing quality control procedures to prevent future billing and reporting problems.
    • Maintaining, proposing, testing, reviewing and updating changes to IWMS software accounting configurations within the context of software-allowable configurable adjustments.
    • Maintaining FM Finance and IWMS Communications webpages on the FM website.
  • This position will primarily function as a Line Supervisor for the Mechanical Services Shop, and will be accountable for the work product of fourteen full-time equivalent positions, including timeliness, correctness and soundness. Position assigns tasks, monitors progress and work flow, checks the finished work, schedules work and establishes work standards day to day. Position provides supervisory decisions and approves leave requests. This position also coordinates the work and ensures that the work performed is done in accordance with appropriate plans, codes, specifications and/or agency standards.
  • Research Associate I, II or III positions are available in the Department of Clinical Sciences, in the area(s) of animal health, infectious disease, cancer, orthopedics, and reproduction. These positions include interaction with the Principal Investigator as well as other research assistants. The individual will be part of a team of researchers completing a federally funded research project and will have a broad range of responsibilities.

    The successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. by date of hire; the Clinical Sciences department will not provide visa sponsorship for these positions.
  • The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance may seek full time or part time, temporary Music Instructors to teach Jazz Studies courses in the music division, and in administrative roles coordinating special programs.

    Applicants are added to the pool list throughout the calendar year. Hiring decisions are made during the late spring and early summer for fall semester, during the early fall semester for spring and during the spring semester for the summer term.
