Our facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for an **early to mid\-career** Project Engineer \(Technical Assistant\) to join our mission\. In this role you will report directly to the Vice President of the Production & Integration Control \(PIC\) organization within Operations\. PIC is a newly formed organization which consists of Facilities, Transportation and Logistics and Production Planning\. This group will be responsible for delivering flawless execution in enterprise demand management, production planning, material flow, and facilities and logistics services\. It will be critical to the success of the Operations Major Functional Organization \(MFO\) by creating synergies across ATLO and Production Operations through Lean Six Sigma processes and management of performance metrics\. By driving a renewed emphasis on collaboration while increasing the integration of our manufacturing team with our customers, both internal and external, this team will aid in positioning the business to secure core programs, reposition Space for next\-generation missions, and win new opportunities\.

**Summary of key duties for this position:**

•Prepare the PIC program area briefings, including gathering, screening, compiling, and presenting of business briefings

•Develop, plan, and communicate key messages including talking points as necessary for staff meetings, site visits, all hands meetings, and other speaking engagements

•Team with PIC leadership to develop weekly activity reports, proposal inputs, capital request packages, and Executive Leadership Team \(ELT\) briefings

•Facilitate the closure of Internal Operating Review \(IOR\), Return to Green and Quarterly Business Review \(QBR\) Production Operations action items

•Support the development and execution of the PIC strategic plan and ensuring consistent messaging

•Advise and collaborate with key stakeholders across the Corporation regarding PIC and production planning initiatives

•Lead and facilitate PIC and production planning LM21 events

•Consult with the PIC senior leadership team including the production planning managers to provide impactful messages, metrics and presentations

•Travel is required with this position

**Special Projects may include:**

•Develop business rhythms and key metrics for the PIC organization

•Process development, new business assessments, efficient communications/approaches

•Supports ELT in development of critical presentations

**Our employees working in this level of position typically have 5 \- 10 years of professional experience\.**

**Basic Qualifications:**

•Minimum 2 years of prior experience working in a Project Engineering/Project Management type role

•Experience preparing and presenting materials to a wide audience

•Experience developing processes or best practice guidelines

•Experience assisting with team projects from start to finish

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Desired Skills:**

•Bachelors degree preferred

•LM21 event leadership and facilitation work experience

•Leadership Development Program graduate

•Self\-starter, ability to work autonomously with limited direction

•Forward thinker, able to anticipate future needs, willing to go above and beyond

•Matured business acumen
