    Job Responsibilities:

    • Main responsibility is to assist the Executive and Assistant Housekeepers in managing the entire daily operation of housekeeping department.
    • The supervisor will be responsible for the entire daily operation of the Housekeeping Department. Ensure all equipment is in good working order, provide a safe environment for employees and guests, ensure clean and organized housekeeping areas and ensure clean guest rooms and public areas, applied key control policies.
    • Train housekeepers, house people, and inspectors on established Brand Standard policies and procedures.
    • Leads day to day HK Inspector work scheduling using IQ-ware. 
    • Coordinates all staff training.
    • Manage payroll on PeopleSoft checking for exceptions and submitting the piece time.
    • Submit the invoices for contract labor on Monday morning to Ardani and Mountain Temp.
    • Control supply inventory, perform daily pre-shift meetings to ensure employees understand expectations, perform safety training procedures, and track and log Lost & Found items.
    • Ensures all work is completed on schedule with the desired level of quality. 
    • Personally inspects the housekeepers, house people, and inspector's work to make sure they work according to Brand Standards. 
    • Ensures the housekeeping productivity is up to date, daily.
    • Ensures the house-person activity sheet is up to date, daily.
    • Cleans and inspections as required.
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma required, Hotel Management Degree-Preferred
    • 2+ years of housekeeping experience in hotels or condos-Preferred
    • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal - Required
    • Able to communicate in Spanish - Preferred
    • Previous Excel knowledge - Preferred

    Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree – Required
    • 9+ years lodging and hospitality experience required, with specific experience in leading department heads. Previous Hotel, Assistant General Manager or General Manager experience highly advised.
    • Proven experience with and passion for providing excellent service.
    • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills in English required. Ability to read, comprehend and write complex correspondence and effectively communicate with guests using diplomacy and tact required.
    • Valid Drivers License and ability to complete a Motor Vehicle Report on hire.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required – proficiency with property management software and property maintenance software preferred.

     

    The expected pay range is $150,000 - 185,000 + annual bonus + equity. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
