    • Understand the use and operation of kitchen equipment, tools and accessories for use and to train other kitchen staff 

    • Adhere to and enforce applicable standards for facility and food preparation, cleanliness, and sanitation to ensure a high-quality work environment and guest experience.  

    • Maintain knowledge of current menu items and their ingredients 

    • Prep ingredients and maintain par levels for demand to minimize waste.  

    • Maintain inventory of ingredients using a first in first out method and monitor food waste for reporting 

    • Other duties as assigned 

     

    Job Requirements:

    • Culinary degree or certification preferred 

    • 1-2 years of relevant work experience; supervisory kitchen experience preferred.   

    • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, practices and food safety; ServSafe certifications a plus

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

    • Maintenance and cleaning of units, grounds, common areas and recreation facilities
    • Sanitizing common areas, high touch points, pool area, and etc. to county regulations
    • Vacuuming, shampooing of carpets; cleaning/waxing of floors; trash removal; stocking and maintaining supply rooms and other cleaning duties
    • During summer season will help in landscaping (pulling weeds, mulching, moving rocks, mowing, planting, and etc.)
    • During winter season will help with snow removal (shoveling, chipping ice, snow blowing) and delivering firewood.
    • Assisting Guest and Owners in any manner
    • Testing and maintaining pool and hot tubs to strict standards
    • Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times
    • Complete timesheet accurately, and turn in to an area manager daily
    • Help in keeping all employee areas neat and clean (break room, supply closets, and etc.)
    • Support department area by keeping all supplies stocked and organized, removal of soiled linens and commons area trash
    • Support environmental and recycling programs
    • Reporting any damage, theft or lost and found to the area manager
    • Report all maintenance problems to an area manager
    • Other duties as assigned

     

     Qualifications:

    • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, preferred
    • Previous guest service experience, preferred
    • Certified Pool/Spa Operator, preferred
    • Previous property maintenance or janitorial experience, preferred
    • A valid US Driver License, preferred
    • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
    • A flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, early mornings, etc., required
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand for long periods of time in excess of six hours without sitting, required
    • Be able to work independently outside in all types of weather
    • Must be able to use cleaning chemicals, small engine machines, and basic hand tools

    Job Summary:

    The laundry attendant is responsible for the daily care of hotel linen and terry products. This position is responsible for the sorting, washing, drying, folding and stocking of all dirty hotel linen and cleaning rags. This person is also responsible for following all instructions related to the daily use of the laundry equipment and chemicals, including using PPE when needed.
